Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission Invites Application for Transport Sub-Inspector and Assistant Regional Transport Officers

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission or CGPSC has declared a recruitment notification for several posts. Willing and eligible candidates are requested to apply for the posts of Transport Officers and Transport Sub-Inspector. Total vacancies

CGPSC will fill up 21 vacant posts through this exam.

1. Assistant Regional Transport Officer : 14 Posts
2. Transport Sub-Inspector : 07 Posts

Age limit 

Age will be calculated as on 1st January 2014. Willing candidates aged between 21 years and 30 years can apply for the vacancies. However, local or native candidates must come with the age limit of 30 years to 40 years. 

• For Assistant Regional Transport Officer: Candidates must be a graduate in the Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• For Transport Sub-Inspector: Candidates must hold a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or automobile engineering from a recognized university.

Application fees

Candidates of unreserved and general category are required paying Rs. 400 as the application fees, whereas SC or ST or other reserved category candidates need to pay Rs. 300 only. 

Selection procedure 

An online examination is arranged to recruit candidates for these posts. Successful candidates need to appear on the interview based on which merit list or panel will be created.

Application procedure

You need to apply for the posts through online mode. Visit of www.psc.cg.gov.in and fill up the application form properly. Online applications are opening from 19th of February to 20th of March. If you have done any mistake in your application, you will get an opportunity to rectify it. Correct the mistakes within 21st March 2014 to 27th March 2014.
