UPPCL Recruits -2014 for the post of Office Assistant and Stenographers.

UPPCL or Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited has declared a recruitment notification for the posts of Office Assistants and Stenographers. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the posts of stenographers and office assistants. Willing candidates are requested to send their application form on or before 19th March.

Age limit

To apply for the both posts, candidates must fulfill the following age limit as on 1st January 2014.

• For office assistant: Candidates  age between 18 years to 50 years.
• For stenographers:  Candidates age between 20 years to 50 years.

Both of the posts come with age relaxation for reserved or SC ST candidates, as per Government rules.

Educational Qualification 

Candidates having a graduate degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for the posts. ‘O’ Level certificate is also required to apply for such vacant positions. Moreover, candidates must have a good typing speed along with a fair knowledge on MS Word and MS Excel in computer.

Pay scale 

Both the posts come with a pay scale of Rs. 5200 - 20,200 along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2600 per month.

Application fees 

Candidates do not require paying any fees for such vacancies.

Selection procedure 

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of performance on the written test followed by an interview.
