Odisha Public Service Commission has issued a notification on the openings for 211 dental surgeons. For the details, it is advised to refer their official website, www.opsc.gov.in. OPSC was known to be set up in the year 1949. Initially, it was known to be a joint commission of the Bihar and Odisha Joint Public Service Commission.

A total number of 211 dental surgeons can grab this brilliant opportunity. The competent and eligible candidates are hereby requested to apply for this position if it suits their ability. Below mentioned is the required criteria to be considered before you apply for it.

Name of the position – Dental surgeon

Age limit – The applicants are required to their age between  of 21 to 32 years as on the date of 01/01/2014, which means they should have been born between the dates of 02/01/1982 to 01/01/1993. However, age relaxation is applicable in accordance to the Government rules.

Application fees – The application fees for the General/ OBC candidates is Rs.300 and there is absolutely no fees for the SC/ ST/ PD candidates.

Pay scale – The pay band ranges from Rs. 15600/- to Rs. 39100/-. There will also be a grade pay of Rs. 5400/-.

Education qualification – The applicants should have completed their BDS or should have got an equivalent degree from a recognized university by the Dental Council of India (DCI).

Candidates will be required to answer a written examination, on the basis of which, selection will be done.

Application procedure – Candidates are required to fill up the form by downloading it from the official website. Once the application is filled, you can send it along with all the required documents to Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack -753001.

The last date for online application is 12/03/2014 and the last date for the payment of fees is 14/03/2014. The last date for the receipt of the form is 27/03/2014 by 5 PM.
