Eligibility criteria

Age limit – The age limit for every post is different. Hence, to know better about it, it is advised to go through the official notification.

Educational Qualifications – Applicants are required to have a BachelorsDegree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry for Chargeman posts and should have the rank of a petty officer for the chargemean post and Matriculation or 3 years service on Ship/ Craft for Lascar and fitter with knowledge in swimming for Topaz and Bachelor of Arts/ Science/ Commerce Degree for Assistant. Candidates are not required to pay any application fees for the above mentioned posts.

Process of selection – The candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance in practical test, written exam, interview and physical test.

Procedure for application – Candidates willing to apply for the above mentioned posts are required to send their applications in the right format along with attested copies of various documents that supports their age, experience and qualification to Flag Officer Commanding-in-chief, Head Quarters, Southern Naval command, Kochi- 682004, Kerala.
