Revised Notification for SSC Combined Graduate Level exam
If you are taking preparation for the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level exam and somehow fail to apply for the recent vacancies, there is exciting news for you. The Staff Selection Commission or SSC has recently declared the extended period of application submission. However, apart from extending the period of application various changes are announced by the authority regarding eligibility criteria, age etc for various posts.
New dates of application submission
As declared earlier, the last date of submission of the application form is 14th February 2014. However, as per the latest notification, it has now extended up to 24th February 2014. Following are some important dates that should be follow strictly to enjoy the advantages of such extension.
Closing date - 24th February, 2014
Closing date for part I registration – 24th February
Closing date for part II registration – 22nd February
Closing dates for candidates for areas mentioned at point 8- 3rd March, 2014
Changes in age limit
According to the recent declaration, the Staff Selection Commission has made
some major changes regarding combined Graduate Level Exam. Apart from extension
of the last date of application submission, upper age limit of several posts
have also changed. Age limit of Statistical Investigator Grade-II and Assistant
Enforcement Officer is respectively extended from 26 years and 27 years to 32
years and 30 years. Earlier candidates within 18 to 27 years of age group can
apply for Sub Inspector in CBI. But as per recent announcement, it is changed
to 20 to 30 years. Apart from this, classification of Assistant Enforcement
Officer and Sub Inspector in CBI are also changed from Group C to Group B.
Changes in eligibility criteria of Statistical Investigator Grade-II
As per the latest notification, educational qualification of the candidates
for Statistical Investigator Grade-II has also changed. Candidates must have a
bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with
at least 60% in Mathematics at Intermediate level. Graduate candidates with
Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level can apply for the same.
